A public domain name or https URL
You get
Certificate subject, issuer, validity dates, days remaining, SANs, chain, TLS version
Good to know
Browsers block reading other sites’ responses, so this check runs on our server: it opens a TLS connection to port 443 of the host you enter, reads the certificate and disconnects, and doesn’t log the URL. Only public http/https hosts on port 443 are allowed; private, internal and cloud-metadata addresses are refused. Rate-limited to 20 checks per minute. Results reflect what our server sees, which may differ from what a CDN shows you.
Privacy
Makes a network request to work. We don’t store what you check.

FAQ

What does “not trusted” mean if the dates are fine?

Usually the server isn’t sending its intermediate certificate, so clients can’t build a chain to a trusted root. Install the full chain (fullchain.pem) on the server.

Does this check revocation?

No. OCSP/CRL revocation isn’t checked; browsers handle that differently. This tool focuses on expiry, trust chain and hostname coverage.
