FAQ

What's the difference between a project brief and a project plan?

A brief explains why and what — problem, goals, scope, constraints — so people can agree before work starts. A plan explains how and when in detail. Write the brief first.

Why include non-goals and out-of-scope items?

They prevent the most common source of overruns: people assuming something was included. Writing them down turns an argument later into a quick reference now.
