What it does

Once installed, the agent can look up current job openings on Jobnet.dk, Denmark's official public job portal run by STAR. It can search by keyword, region, postal code radius, work hours or contract type, then open the full ad to show the description, contact persons, deadline and application link. It runs a small bundled command-line tool that calls Jobnet's public API, so no login is needed.

Great for

  • Job seekers looking for work in Denmark, especially public sector, healthcare, education or IT roles
  • People in Denmark who want a quick list of nearby jobs filtered by postal code and radius
  • Danish speakers or recruiters who want to compare ads in a table

Skip it if

  • Users outside Denmark, since the portal and its listings are Denmark-specific and the skill ships disabled by default (enabled: false)
  • Anyone needing guaranteed-complete job data: the tool returns what the API returns and the skill does not verify ads or employers
  • Situations where running local scripts is not allowed, because the skill executes a Bun/TypeScript CLI on the user's machine

Try asking

  • “Find full-time permanent nurse jobs (sygeplejerske) in Denmark, sorted by best match”
  • “Show IT developer jobs within 30 km of postal code 8000 Aarhus”
  • “What are the application deadlines for teacher jobs (lærer) soonest?”
  • “Get the full description and contact person for this Jobnet ad ID”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Danish Job Search (Jobnet)Install, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 15 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    jobnet-search.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip jobnet-search.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip jobnet-search.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Start with suggestions or occupations to find the exact Danish job title or ESCO identifier before searching, since keyword matches are literal
  • Use --format table to compare several ads, and --format plain on detail to strip HTML from the job body
  • Do not combine --region with --postal-code in one query; pick one geographic mode
