What it does

Once installed, the agent can read a job posting, score how well it fits your background, and draft a tailored LaTeX CV and cover letter based on your saved profile and writing rules. It can also research the company, prepare STAR-style interview answers, and draft questions for the interviewer. It is designed so job-posting text is treated as untrusted data, not as instructions, and it runs a guard script on fetched postings before evaluating them.

Great for

  • Job seekers who want a structured fit assessment before spending time on an application
  • People who already keep a LaTeX CV and profile files and want consistent, tailored variants per role
  • Candidates preparing for interviews who want practice answers grounded in their own experience

Skip it if

  • Anyone who has not filled in the candidate profile files: the output will be generic or inaccurate without them
  • Fully automated submission of applications: the skill drafts documents and records them, but the instructions do not describe submitting to employer portals, and the user should review all text for accuracy and tone before sending
  • Sensitive or confidential job-search situations where web research on the employer and fetching postings is undesirable, since it sends requests to websites

Try asking

  • “Evaluate this job posting: https://example.com/careers/data-analyst and tell me if I should apply”
  • “Write a CV for the product manager role at Acme Corp based on my profile”
  • “Write a cover letter for the research engineer position at this company, following my writing style rules”
  • “Help me prepare for an interview at a fintech startup, with STAR answers and questions to ask them”
