What it does

Once installed, the agent can search Jobindex.dk, Denmark's job portal, for openings by keyword, job title, skill, or city, and can filter by how recently a job was posted. It can also open a specific listing to read its full description, deadline, employment type, hours, and apply link. It runs a small bundled command-line tool to do this, so it works on live data rather than the model's memory.

Great for

  • People looking for work in Denmark, including international job seekers in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense or Aalborg
  • Developers, designers or marketers who want a quick overview of current Danish listings
  • Anyone who wants the agent to pull and compare several job postings into a table

Skip it if

  • Searching job markets outside Denmark, since it only queries the Danish portal (the skill is also disabled by default, so it must be turned on first)
  • Applying for jobs automatically: it only reads listings and gives you an apply link, it does not submit applications
  • Situations needing guaranteed-current or complete data, because results depend on the live Jobindex site and its page size is fixed at 20

Try asking

  • “Find Python jobs posted in the last 7 days in Denmark”
  • “Show me data engineer jobs in Copenhagen, sorted by date”
  • “Get the full description and deadline for job h1647303”
  • “Are there any marketing jobs in Aarhus posted this month?”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Jobindex Danish Job SearchInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 15 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    jobindex-search.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip jobindex-search.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip jobindex-search.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Put the city in the query text (for example "python aarhus"), because the portal does not support a separate location filter
  • Use --jobage 7 or --jobage 1 and --sort date to see fresh listings first
  • Ask for a specific job ID after a search to get its full description and apply link
