What it does

When installed, the agent plans and drafts social and content material tailored to each platform instead of copying one message everywhere. It asks what the source material is, who the audience is, and what the goal is, then writes X posts or threads, LinkedIn posts, short-form video scripts, YouTube structures, or newsletter drafts. It can also break one article, demo, or doc into several platform-specific pieces and suggest a posting order.

Great for

  • Founders or small teams launching a product who need posts for several platforms
  • Creators repurposing a video, podcast, or article into short social content
  • Marketers who want a lightweight content plan around a launch or milestone

Skip it if

  • Teams needing automated publishing or scheduling, since this skill only writes text and does not post to platforms
  • Situations requiring verified facts or metrics, because the skill gives no research or fact-checking step and drafts can contain unsupported claims

Try asking

  • “Turn this launch doc into an X thread, a LinkedIn post, and a 45-second TikTok script”
  • “Repurpose my podcast transcript into three YouTube chapter outlines and five short social posts”
  • “Draft a week-long content calendar for our v2 release with platform-specific CTAs”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Content EngineInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    content-engine.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip content-engine.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip content-engine.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Provide the full source asset and state the target audience and goal up front so the drafts are specific.
  • Ask for one platform at a time if you want deeper edits, rather than a multi-platform bundle.
  • Review every claim and number before publishing, since the skill does not verify them.
