How do I remove 20% VAT from a price?
Divide by 1.20. £120 including VAT is £100 net + £20 VAT. Multiplying by 0.8 gives £96, which is wrong.
Are the country rates always up to date?
They’re the standard rates as commonly published when the tool was last checked, but governments change them — always verify the current rate with the tax authority.
