About
Compare two CSV files by a key column and see added, removed and changed rows, with changed cells highlighted before and after.
How to use it
- 1Paste or drop the original file (A) and the new version (B).
- 2Pick the key column(s) that identify a row, such as id or sku.
- 3Optionally ignore case and surrounding spaces.
- 4Browse changed, added and removed rows, then download a diff report.
- You give
- Two CSV/TSV files with header rows
- You get
- On-screen diff with cell highlights and a CSV diff report
- Good to know
- Only columns present in both files are compared cell by cell; added or removed columns are listed separately. If a key repeats, duplicates are paired in order. Tables show the first 500 rows of each section.

FAQ
What if rows are in a different order?
Order doesn’t matter. Rows are matched by the key column, so a reordered file with the same data shows no changes.
Can I compare without a key?
Yes. Choose “No key” and whole rows are matched; any edited row then appears as one removed and one added row.
