About

Sort CSV rows by several columns with number and date detection, and filter with rules like contains, equals, greater than or empty.

How to use it

  1. 1Paste CSV or drop a file.
  2. 2Add sort levels — numbers and dates are detected so 9 comes before 10.
  3. 3Add filter rules (contains, equals, >, <, empty, regex…) and choose whether all or any must match.
  4. 4Download the sorted, filtered rows.
You give

You get
Sorted and filtered CSV or JSON
Good to know
Empty cells always sort to the bottom. Number detection expects “1234.5” or “1,234.5” — European “1.234,5” is compared as text. Files up to roughly 50–100 MB work on a desktop browser (big files are streamed in chunks); phones may run out of memory sooner. The preview shows the first 200 rows, downloads include every row.

FAQ

How does it know a column is numeric?

Auto mode checks the column’s values: if every non-empty value is a number it sorts numerically, if every value is a date (ISO or M/D/YYYY) it sorts by date, otherwise alphabetically with natural ordering. You can override it per sort level.

Can I combine filters with OR?

Yes. When you have two or more rules, switch “Keep rows matching” to “any rule”.
