What it does

When installed, the agent follows a structured 10-phase checklist before a Quarkus Java service is merged or deployed. It walks through building the project with Maven or Gradle, running static analysis (Checkstyle, PMD, SpotBugs, optionally SonarQube), running tests and checking coverage against an 80% target, scanning dependencies and APIs for security issues, testing a GraalVM native build, and checking health endpoints and container images. The skill is written in Spanish and provides the commands and example test code to use.

Great for

  • Java developers maintaining a Quarkus service who want a repeatable pre-PR or pre-deploy check
  • Teams that want an agent to run the same verification steps before every release
  • Developers who want example unit, integration and API tests for Quarkus

Skip it if

  • Projects that do not use Quarkus, since the commands and test patterns are Quarkus- and Maven-specific
  • Production deployments without human review: the skill suggests deployment-gating checks but does not replace security sign-off, and some commands may modify build output or call external services

Try asking

  • “Run the verification loop on this Quarkus service before I open a pull request”
  • “Check whether test coverage meets the 80% line and 70% branch targets”
  • “Scan this project's dependencies for known CVEs and review the report”
  • “Verify that the native GraalVM build starts and passes the health checks”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    quarkus-verification.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip quarkus-verification.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip quarkus-verification.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Run each phase separately so you can see which step fails rather than running everything at once
  • Provide the SonarQube token through an environment variable, never pasted into chat
  • Review the commands before running them, especially the Docker and load-test steps that hit localhost services
