What it does

When installed, the agent gets a reference of security practices for Quarkus, a Java framework for web services. When you ask for help with login, JWT or OIDC tokens, role-based access, input validation, CORS, password hashing, SQL injection prevention or secret handling, it follows these patterns and points out insecure examples such as unvalidated input or string-concatenated queries. The skill is written in Spanish and is one of the translated documents in the ECC repository.

Great for

  • Java developers building or reviewing Quarkus REST APIs
  • Teams wanting a checklist-style security review of Quarkus configuration and code
  • Developers new to Quarkus security who want working code patterns to start from

Skip it if

  • Production security sign-off: the examples are illustrative, and the sample token validator always returns true, so it must not be copied as-is (it would accept any token).
  • Non-Quarkus stacks such as Spring or Node, where the Quarkus-specific APIs will not apply.

Try asking

Step-by-step guide: how to use Quarkus Security ReviewInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    quarkus-security.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip quarkus-security.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip quarkus-security.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Ask for a review of your specific files rather than general advice, so the agent checks against your actual configuration.
  • Verify every recommendation against current Quarkus documentation and your identity provider's settings before deploying.
  • Treat code samples as starting points: the JWT filter example accepts any Bearer token and the CORS example enables credentials, so adapt them carefully.
