What it does
When installed, the agent follows a set of Go testing conventions when you ask it to write or improve Go code. It works in a test-first style (write a failing test, make it pass, then tidy up), and uses common Go patterns such as table-driven tests, grouped subtests, parallel subtests, helper functions, temporary files and golden files. The skill is a written guide in Spanish; it does not add any tool or program on its own.
Great for
- Go developers who want consistent, idiomatic tests written by an AI agent
- Teams practising test-driven development in Go
- Developers learning how table-driven tests and subtests are structured
Skip it if
- Non-Go projects, since the examples only cover the Go language and its testing package
- Experienced Go teams with their own testing standards, where the agent may override house style with these generic examples
Try asking
- “Write table-driven tests for this Go function covering edge cases”
- “Help me follow TDD to build a new Go package step by step”
- “Add a benchmark and a fuzz test for my input parser in Go”
- “Improve test coverage for the user service package”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Ask the agent to run go test after each change so the red-green cycle is verified, not assumed.
- Mention your Go version and existing test conventions so the agent adapts the examples rather than copying them.
- Review generated tests yourself; the examples are illustrative and some (such as the placeholder update subtest) are incomplete.
