What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to create social media and content material that fits each platform (X, LinkedIn, short video, YouTube, newsletters) instead of posting the same text everywhere. It starts from real source material such as articles, notes, demos or changelogs, picks the strongest single claim, and adapts it to each platform's format while avoiding generic hype and fake engagement tricks. It can also reuse a voice profile from the related brand-voice skill to keep the author's tone consistent.

Great for

  • Founders or creators who want to turn a blog post, demo or launch note into several social posts
  • Marketers planning a multi-platform launch sequence or content calendar
  • Authors who want drafts that sound like them rather than generic platform templates

Skip it if

  • Fully automated posting without review: the skill only drafts and says CTAs need user approval, so publishing still depends on a person (or another tool) to act
  • Situations needing verified facts or claims: the skill relies on the source material provided and does not check accuracy

Try asking

  • “Turn this product changelog into an X thread and a LinkedIn launch post”
  • “Make a 45-second short-video script explaining this demo's result”
  • “Create a one-week content calendar from my last three blog articles”
  • “Adapt this newsletter draft into YouTube video outline sections”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Content EngineInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    content-engine.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip content-engine.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip content-engine.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Provide real source material (articles, notes, transcripts, past posts) so drafts reflect your actual claims and voice
  • Review every draft and any calls to action before publishing, since the skill expects user approval for CTAs
  • Ask for one strong idea per output; the skill is designed to avoid stuffing multiple claims into one post
