What it does

When installed, the agent walks you through setting up or reconfiguring the ECC toolkit in the coding assistant you are currently using. It first inspects what is already installed, asks only the choices that apply to that assistant (for Claude Code: install scope and hook mode), shows a preview, and asks for one yes/no before applying changes and verifying the result. It is written to avoid manual copying of plugins or cloning repositories into temporary folders.

Get better results

  • Read the preview summary carefully before answering yes; it lists the scope, hook mode and marketplace actions that will change.
  • If the assistant cannot tell which harness it is running in, expect it to ask you before running any change command.
  • Hook modes apply to your personal Claude plugin settings and do not follow the install scope, so check them separately.
