What it does
This skill gives an AI agent a fixed outline for turning finished competitor profile sheets into a strategy report. Once installed, the agent builds the report with sections such as an executive summary, a positioning map, a competitor comparison grid, a deep dive on key rivals, a white-space and threat analysis, and prioritized recommendations, with a closing list of questions for a team meeting. It is the final step of a three-skill pipeline and assumes the earlier profile cards already exist.
Great for
- Consultants or brand studios preparing a competitive analysis deliverable for a client
- Founders or product managers who already have scored competitor profiles and need a leadership-ready report
- Students or analysts who want a consistent template for competitive research
Skip it if
- Starting a competitive analysis from scratch: the skill expects scored profile cards from the benchmark-methodology skill and does not gather or verify competitor data itself
- Quick one-off questions about competitors, since the skill imposes a heavy multi-section structure that is overkill for simple answers
Try asking
- “Assemble my scored competitor cards into a full competitive report for the founder meeting”
- “Build the landscape map and benchmarking matrix from these profile cards”
- “Draft the white-space analysis and strategic recommendations for our brand positioning”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run benchmark-methodology first and give the agent its completed profile cards, otherwise the report has no evidence to work from.
- Define the client's positioning brief (strategic tension, brand balance, target quadrant) before asking for the report so recommendations can be checked against it.
- Ask the agent to keep raw evidence and source links in the appendix, and review the asserted-versus-verified notes before sharing the report externally.
