What it does
When installed, the agent treats questions like 'what automations do I have, which are broken, and what overlaps?' as an audit task. It first reads the actual setup (repo hooks, GitHub Actions, MCP configs, connectors, wrapper scripts) instead of answering from memory, sorts each item into states such as configured, authenticated, recently verified, stale or broken, and cites file paths or logs as evidence. It ends with a keep, merge, cut or fix-next recommendation per overlapping item, and it starts read-only unless you ask for changes.
Great for
- Developers whose repo has accumulated many overlapping hooks, workflows or MCP servers and who want one canonical setup
- Teams trying to find out which scheduled jobs or CI automations are actually still running
- People porting automations from another agent system into ECC and needing to know what is still missing
Skip it if
- Simple one-off scripting or building a new automation from scratch, since this skill focuses on auditing existing setups and avoids rewrites
- Situations where you need live proof of status but cannot give the agent access to logs or CI output, because the skill warns against claiming something is live from configuration alone
Try asking
- “Which of my automations are live, and which are broken?”
- “Audit my hooks, GitHub Actions and MCP servers for overlap and tell me what to keep or cut.”
- “Inventory the scheduled jobs in this workspace and show the proof for each one.”
- “Compare our local automations with current platform support and list what is missing.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give the agent access to recent CI run output or hook logs so it can cite real evidence rather than configuration alone.
- Ask for the inventory first and review the evidence table before requesting any merges or deletions.
- Install the referenced ECC sibling skills too, otherwise parts of the workflow may have nothing to hand off to.
