What it does
Once installed, the agent can take a test written as an XML list of plain-English steps (for example, search for an item, tap the first result, verify the detail screen) and carry it out on a connected Android phone or emulator. It taps, swipes and types using ADB commands, checks what is on screen using screenshots or UI dumps, stops at the first failure, and produces a structured JSON report of each step's result.
Great for
- Mobile QA engineers who want repeatable end-to-end checks on Android apps
- Developers debugging a user flow on a physical device or emulator
- Teams that keep test specifications in XML and want a standard JSON output for CI
Skip it if
- iOS apps or web apps, which this skill does not cover (it relies on Android ADB tools)
- Production accounts or real customer data, because the agent drives the live UI and types into fields; use dedicated test accounts
- Flows where the file's own rules are too thin to guarantee correct behaviour, such as complex gestures or apps needing special handling; the skill's Limitations section is incomplete
Try asking
- “Run the login-and-profile-edit journey XML against the emulator and give me a JSON report”
- “Check that the search-and-cart journey passes on the connected Pixel and list any failed steps”
- “Verify that the home dashboard shows the profile photo after login, and stop at the first failure”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Use a dedicated test account and throwaway credentials; the skill redacts typed passwords in reports but the agent still types them into the live app.
- Write each journey step as a single clear action or assertion so the agent can map it to a tap, swipe or screen check.
- Review the JSON report and the commands list after each run, since the agent executes ADB commands directly on your device.
