What it does
When installed, the agent follows a structured review policy before accepting code written by an AI. It asks for a record of the exact code version, limits what the code may access, chooses checks suited to the language, and separates static scans, dependency audits and behavior tests. It is explicit that a passing linter or a clean scan is not a security approval, and it marks skipped or unparseable checks as incomplete rather than passed. The skill also includes a small Python example that inspects code as text (without running it) to flag direct eval/exec calls and os/subprocess imports.
Great for
- Developers reviewing AI-generated pull requests before merging
- Security-minded teams defining a review policy for generated code
- Engineers who want a checklist of evidence to keep for code approvals
Skip it if
- Anyone expecting a complete security scanner: the skill itself says its AST example is a teaching filter that aliases, dynamic imports and many attacks can bypass.
- Projects needing an installed CI gate: the skill provides a policy and example, not a working pipeline.
Try asking
- “Review this AI-generated Python API change against our guardrail policy before merge.”
- “Build a policy register for checking generated Rust code with cargo-audit and static rules.”
- “Explain what checks are still missing before we can approve this generated authorization logic.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give the agent the exact code revision and your acceptance criteria up front so the evidence record is meaningful.
- Treat the bundled AST example as a teaching aid; do not rely on it as a sandbox or sole security control.
- Run any behavior tests yourself in an isolated environment without production credentials.
