What it does
Once installed, the agent can scan a web page you give it (a URL) for accessibility problems such as low colour contrast, missing accessible names on controls, and broken semantic markup. It reports how many issues there are by impact, and for each one shows the page element (CSS selector), the evidence, and a suggested fix or a note that a human must decide. It deliberately does not edit your code; fixing is a separate task.
Great for
- Front-end developers checking a page after a UI change
- Designers or QA staff who want a precise list of automated WCAG findings for a specific page
- Teams who already have the AccessLint tools installed in their project
Skip it if
- Full WCAG conformance certification: automated rules cannot prove a site is compliant, and manual or assistive-technology testing is still needed
- Pages behind logins or containing sensitive data, since the scan opens them in a browser and could expose that content
- Projects that have not pinned and reviewed the AccessLint packages, because the skill warns against silently downloading the latest version
Try asking
- “Scan http://localhost:3000/checkout for accessibility issues and list each one with its selector”
- “Audit the homepage after my navigation redesign and show contrast failures by impact”
- “Run an accessibility check on the login page with --wait-for on the form element and give me a fix worklist”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Use the packages already locked in your project rather than letting the agent install @latest, and confirm the binary names and CLI help first
- Point it at a local dev server or a non-sensitive staging URL, and check that the server is running, since exit code 2 means a bad URL or page that never loaded
- Ask for the output as a worklist, then start a separate task to apply the fixes you approve
