FAQ

How are shots numbered?

Leave the Shot field empty and shots are numbered per scene (1A, 1B, 2A…), the convention used on most film sets. Type your own numbers to override.

Can I open the CSV in Google Sheets or Excel?

Yes. The CSV uses standard formatting; cells that look like formulas are escaped so spreadsheets don't run them.

What should a shot list include?

At minimum scene, shot number, shot size, angle, movement, lens and a short description — plus notes for audio, props and talent.
