About

You get
SVG or PNG barcode image
Good to know
This tool draws barcodes; it doesn’t issue product numbers. Retail EAN/UPC codes must come from GS1 to be valid in stores. QR, Data Matrix and PDF417 are not included. Dark bars on a light background scan best; coloured barcodes may fail on laser scanners.

FAQ

What does “invalid check digit” mean?

The last digit of EAN-13, UPC-A and ITF-14 is calculated from the others (GS1 mod-10). If it doesn’t match, scanners reject the code, so you most likely mistyped a digit.

Which type should I use for inventory labels?

CODE128. It is compact, encodes letters and numbers, and every modern scanner reads it.
