What it does

This skill extends NanoClaw, a personal agent system, so that when a user asks an existing Slack-connected agent to create a new agent, the new agent gets its own Slack app and bot identity. It opens a direct message between the new bot and the operator, and a shared group conversation with the operator and both agents, and adds tools to create rooms and add agents to them. It requires a Slack provisioning credential to create the app; without one, agent creation still works but the Slack step is left for a separate finish script.

Great for

  • Developers running NanoClaw with Slack who want agents to spawn teammate agents as distinct Slack bots
  • Teams that want a shared multi-agent room in Slack created conversationally

Skip it if

  • Users who do not run NanoClaw or do not use Slack, since the skill depends on both (it does nothing for other channels)
  • Workspaces where giving an agent a workspace-level Slack manager token is not acceptable, because that credential can create apps with broad reach

Try asking

  • “Create an agent called Research and have it appear in Slack as its own bot”
  • “Set up a shared room with the operator and three new agents named Pixel, Atlas and Quill”
  • “Add the Research agent to the existing team room”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 15 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    slack-agent-flow.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip slack-agent-flow.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip slack-agent-flow.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Review the trunk version check and Slack payload check before applying, since the skill refuses to run on an outdated trunk
  • Prefer the managed install token over a workspace manager token to limit credential exposure
  • Use the finish script with --restart only when you are ready for a service restart
