What it does

This skill adds a monitoring dashboard to a NanoClaw installation, a personal AI agent system. A small pusher module periodically collects data from NanoClaw's database and log file and sends it as JSON snapshots to a dashboard package (@nanoco/nanoclaw-dashboard) that serves a web UI. Once installed, you can view agent groups, sessions, channels, users, token usage, context windows, message activity and streaming logs in a browser at a local port.

Great for

  • NanoClaw operators who want visibility into agent sessions, token usage and channel status
  • Developers debugging NanoClaw message flow or privilege settings on their own machine

Skip it if

  • People who do not run NanoClaw; the skill edits NanoClaw's source and database-dependent code and will not help elsewhere
  • Shared or internet-exposed deployments: the dashboard exposes operational data and logs and relies on a single bearer secret, so it should stay on a trusted local network

Try asking

  • “Add the monitoring dashboard to my NanoClaw install”
  • “Set up the NanoClaw dashboard on port 3100 and show me how to open it”
  • “Remove the dashboard from my NanoClaw project cleanly”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 4 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    add-dashboard.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip add-dashboard.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip add-dashboard.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Generate DASHBOARD_SECRET with the provided command and keep it private; the dashboard returns data only with the bearer token.
  • Keep the dashboard bound to localhost or a trusted network, since it shows logs and internal state.
  • Run the build before the tests, as the skill instructs, so a missing dependency is caught.
