What it does
Once installed, the agent can crawl a website's pages (up to a configurable limit, default 200) and run Lighthouse on each one, using the open-source Unlighthouse tool on your own machine. It then summarizes the results as median scores for performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO, with a per-page breakdown and a JSON and HTML report. This is useful for checking a whole site for speed and quality problems instead of testing one URL at a time.
Great for
- SEO or web performance specialists auditing large sites that exceed Google PageSpeed Insights' free daily quota
- Developers who want a site-wide Lighthouse regression check after a deploy or in CI
- Teams that need local Core Web Vitals measurement in restricted environments
Skip it if
- Single-URL field data from real users; the skill's own guidance points to a different PageSpeed/CrUX skill for that
- Auditing sites you do not own or have permission to test, since it crawls every discovered route and can put load on the server
- Environments where you cannot install Node 18+ or run local scripts
Try asking
- “Run a mobile Lighthouse audit across my site at https://example.com, capped at 50 pages”
- “Audit the desktop performance of every route on my staging site and save the reports to ./reports”
- “Give me median performance and SEO scores across all pages of this site after today's deploy”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Set --max-routes to a modest number on first runs so you know how long a full crawl will take and how much load it puts on the site.
- Use --output-dir to keep reports for comparison between deploys, since the default is a temporary directory.
- Only point it at sites you own or are authorized to test, and run it against staging when possible.
