What it does

This skill gives an AI agent a short recipe for sending the same team announcement in two places: an email through Gmail and a message in a Google Chat space. It relies on two companion skills (for Gmail and Chat) and on the gws command-line tool, which the agent runs to actually send the messages. Once installed, asking the agent to announce something to your team should lead it to send both messages rather than just drafting them.

Get better results

  • Replace the placeholder address team@company.com and the spaces/TEAM_SPACE identifier with your real values before use, or the agent will send to the wrong place.
  • Ask the agent to show you the exact recipients and message text and confirm before it runs the commands, since sending is irreversible.
  • Use a mail-and-chat-friendly message: the recipe uses one fixed body and one fixed chat text, so edit the wording in your request for each announcement.
