What it does
When installed, the agent acts like a brand strategist for your product. Given a description of your product and market, it identifies five likely competitors, notes how each positions itself and where gaps may exist, then proposes five differentiated positioning ideas. For each idea it writes a one-sentence positioning statement, the reasoning behind it, supporting messages, and the advantages that would back up the claim.
Great for
- Founders or product managers preparing a go-to-market or messaging plan
- Marketers who want fresh angles to test against competitors
- Teams rewriting a website headline or pitch and looking for distinct options
Skip it if
- Validating positioning with real customers: the output is generated brainstorming from the model's general knowledge, not current market research, so competitor details may be outdated or wrong and should be checked
- Legal or regulated claims: positioning statements may make comparative claims that need legal review before publication
Try asking
- “Brainstorm positioning ideas for my B2B invoicing app for freelance designers against FreshBooks and Wave”
- “Give me five differentiated positioning statements for our open-source analytics tool aimed at small data teams”
- “Help me craft a positioning statement for a meditation app for night-shift nurses”

Get better results
- Give specific details: target audience pain points, your product's unique capabilities, and any current positioning you want to change.
- Name the competitors you already know, so the agent analyses the right market rather than guessing.
- Treat the competitor analysis as a starting list to verify against live websites and reviews before acting on it.
