What it does
This skill tells an AI agent to act as a team lead using Google Workspace tools. Once installed, the agent can generate standup reports from your calendar, email and documents, prepare briefing notes for 1:1 meetings, produce weekly digests, turn email action items into tasks, and log team OKRs in a shared spreadsheet. It works by calling the gws command-line tool and several related utility skills for Calendar, Gmail, Chat, Drive and Sheets.
Great for
- Team leads or managers who run regular standups and 1:1s and want them partly automated
- Developers already using the gws CLI and Google Workspace who want ready-made workflows
- Teams that share status updates in Google Chat and track goals in Google Sheets
Skip it if
- People without a Google Workspace account, since every action depends on Google services (not useful and will fail)
- Situations involving highly sensitive personnel matters, because the agent will read calendar, email and Drive data and may post summaries to shared Chat spaces; review outputs before sharing
- Anyone expecting the agent to make management decisions; the skill only gathers and formats information
Try asking
- “Run the standup report workflow and post the summary to our team Chat space”
- “Prepare meeting notes for my 1:1 with Priya next Tuesday”
- “Give me a weekly digest of what my team worked on this week”
- “Turn the action items from my latest email thread into tasks”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Review the output of standup and digest workflows before posting to a shared Chat space, since the agent may include more data than intended.
- Use the --sanitize flag for operations involving sensitive team data, as the SKILL.md recommends.
- Install and authenticate the gws CLI and its utility skills first, otherwise the workflows will not run.
