What it does

This is a reference playbook that teaches an AI agent how to plan and carry out wireless security assessments of 802.11 (Wi-Fi) networks. Once installed, the agent can walk a security tester through adapter selection, passive reconnaissance, capturing WPA handshakes and PMKIDs, attacking WPA3 and WPA-Enterprise setups, WPS PIN attacks, rogue access points and captive-portal phishing, and checking for known protocol flaws like KRACK and FragAttacks. It consists only of a SKILL.md methodology file with example command lines; it does not itself contain scripts.

Great for

  • Penetration testers preparing or running an authorized wireless engagement
  • Security teams auditing corporate Wi-Fi segmentation and 802.1X configuration
  • Students learning how wireless attacks work in a lab they own

Skip it if

  • Attacking networks you do not own or have written permission to test, since the content gives operational attack steps and is illegal to use otherwise
  • Casual home users wanting to secure their own router; a hardening guide would fit better
  • Anyone without wireless hardware and security training, because the commands can disrupt networks if misused

Try asking

  • “Plan a wireless pentest scope for a client office with WPA2 and WPA-Enterprise networks”
  • “Explain how to check whether an access point is vulnerable to WPS Pixie Dust in a lab”
  • “Outline the steps to test corporate devices against an evil-twin RADIUS attack with authorization”
  • “Summarize which Wi-Fi adapters support monitor mode and packet injection”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    offensive-wifi.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip offensive-wifi.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip offensive-wifi.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Only use it with written authorization and a defined scope; state the engagement context when asking for help
  • Ask the agent to start with passive reconnaissance and the least disruptive option before any deauthentication
  • Verify tool versions and adapter driver status yourself, since the file notes some hardware support is bleeding edge
