What it does
This skill gives an AI agent a detailed playbook for attacking the workflows behind web and mobile APIs, the parts automated scanners often miss. Once installed, the agent can map endpoints, try skipping or reordering steps in checkout-style flows, test race conditions, attack JWT tokens, probe GraphQL for brute-force batching and schema leaks, and look for leaked API keys and hidden routes. It includes ready-made curl and Python examples and names tools such as Arjun, ParamSpider, jwt_tool and GraphQL Voyager. It is written for authorized security testing; it contains no safeguards that check authorization before use.
Great for
- Security professionals running authorized penetration tests or bug bounty engagements against APIs they are permitted to test
- Application security engineers who want a checklist of API logic flaws to verify in their own systems
- Red teams preparing API assessment reports with business impact estimates
Skip it if
- Testing systems you do not own or have written permission to test, since the steps (brute force, race conditions, exfiltration) can be illegal and cause real harm
- Beginners looking for a general introduction to API security; the skill assumes prior penetration testing knowledge
- Production environments without a safe test plan, because batching, race and resource exhaustion techniques can disrupt service
Try asking
- “Map the undocumented endpoints of our staging API and check which ones lack authorization checks”
- “Test our GraphQL schema for introspection leakage and batching-based login brute-force exposure in our authorized test environment”
- “Analyze this JWT for algorithm confusion and kid injection weaknesses”
- “Review our checkout workflow for ways to skip the payment step and report the business impact”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Only run it against systems with written authorization and a defined scope; state the scope in your prompt so the agent stays within it
- Use a staging or test environment with dummy accounts, especially for race condition, brute-force and resource exhaustion tests
- Ask the agent to record each finding with evidence and a business impact estimate so results can go straight into a report
