What it does

When installed, the agent processes a meeting transcript from any recorder (AI notetaker export, webhook, pasted text, or audio transcript) into a structured meeting page in a personal knowledge base called a brain. It splits multi-meeting recordings, identifies speakers by evidence, creates or updates pages for attendees and companies, adds timeline entries and two-way links, and checks recorder summaries against the transcript before trusting them. It will not report a meeting as finished until its verification checklist passes.

Great for

  • Professionals who record meetings and want a searchable, linked record of attendees, decisions and action items
  • Teams already using a gbrain knowledge base who want meetings to feed entity and timeline pages
  • People who want auditable meeting notes where quotes are checked against the raw transcript

Skip it if

  • Users without a gbrain or compatible page-based knowledge base, since the skill writes to meetings/, people/ and companies/ pages and relies on gbrain tools
  • Sensitive or confidential meetings if the transcript is sent to a network service or stored in pages you have not reviewed, because raw transcripts are retained as source pages
  • Quick one-off summaries, since the multi-step pipeline with checks is heavier than needed

Try asking

  • “Process this meeting: paste the transcript from today's client call”
  • “Ingest this recording and update the people and companies it mentions”
  • “Check the sequence of the decisions in the meeting notes I just added”
  • “Audit this meeting and tell me which quotes could not be verified”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Meeting Transcript IngestionInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    meeting-ingestion.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip meeting-ingestion.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip meeting-ingestion.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Provide the full raw transcript rather than only the recorder's AI summary, since quotes are verified against it
  • Review sidecar transcript pages for leftover private details before sharing the knowledge base, as redaction is described but depends on the agent applying it
  • Expect the agent to ask you to resolve unclear speakers or waive a sequence check rather than guessing
