What it does
Once installed, the agent reads a document you provide and draws a structured map of its key concepts, how they are distinguished from one another, and the conditions under which they connect. Each node gets a plain-language definition, a short formula where useful, and a concrete example, so the relationships are easier to understand. It is designed to follow the document's own structure rather than forcing a fixed template, and it marks gaps or uncertain claims instead of inventing content.
Great for
- Students or researchers who want to visualise the logic of a dense article, lecture or set of notes
- Writers and educators preparing a concept map to explain a text to others
- People who find a long document hard to follow and want a clearer relational overview
Skip it if
- Plain summaries or paragraph-by-paragraph rewrites, which the skill explicitly does not do (the output is a concept map, not a summary)
- Geographic maps or purely mathematical proofs, which fall outside its scope
- Use as an authoritative fact check: the skill interprets the source and may mark conjectures, so its maps should be verified against the original text
Try asking
- “/ljg-map followed by a pasted article or a file path”
- “Draw the concepts, distinctions and conditional links in this lecture transcript without rewriting it”
- “This concept map is too hard to read, redraw it with fewer symbols and one running example”
- “Make a thinking-terrain diagram of these research notes showing how the ideas depend on each other”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Provide the full text or a file path so the skill can read the actual content; it will not map from guesses.
- Ask for a redraw with a specific example if the first map is too dense, and say which relationships must be kept.
- Check the marked gaps and conjecture labels, since the skill separates the author's claims from its own added examples.
