What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to operate Zoom through a command-line tool (cli-anything-zoom) that wraps the Zoom REST API. Once installed, the agent can create, list, update and delete meetings, register or remove participants (including batch import from CSV), list attendees of past meetings, and list, download or delete cloud recordings. It also supports OAuth2 login through a browser and returns machine-readable JSON output for the agent to parse.

Great for

  • Admins or event organisers who schedule many Zoom meetings and want an agent to handle the routine work
  • Developers building automations that batch-register participants or pull attendance and recording data
  • Teams that want an agent to fetch cloud recordings for archiving

Skip it if

  • Anyone who does not have a Zoom account or API OAuth app set up, since the tool cannot work without credentials
  • Users who want to delete recordings or meetings casually: the delete commands remove data permanently, so an agent should not run them unsupervised
  • Situations where Zoom account credentials must not be stored on the local machine, since login saves tokens locally

Try asking

  • “Create a Zoom meeting called 'Weekly Sync' for Monday at 10am and show me the join link”
  • “Register everyone in participants.csv for meeting 123456789”
  • “List who attended last Thursday's meeting”
  • “Download the cloud recording files for meeting 987654321”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the Apache-2.0 licence and an attribution note.

    skills.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip skills.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip skills.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Set up OAuth credentials and run the status command before asking the agent to manage meetings
  • Ask the agent to confirm before running delete or batch commands, since these change live Zoom data
  • Use absolute paths for CSV and download files so the agent writes to the expected location
