What it does

Once installed, when you ask your AI assistant to proofread or review a draft, it checks the text for spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes, unsupported or vague claims, and awkward transitions or wording. It then lists each problem with its location, a suggested fix, and a short reason, ranked by importance. It is designed to leave your text as your own rather than rewriting the whole document, and it also comments on whether the tone fits the text's goal.

Great for

  • Marketers and founders polishing copy, emails or proposals before sending
  • Students or professionals who want feedback on a draft's clarity and flow
  • Anyone who wants targeted edits instead of a full rewrite

Skip it if

  • Final legal, medical or regulatory documents that need a qualified human reviewer (the skill is a general copyedit guide, not a professional authority)
  • Fact-checking claims: it flags unsupported statements but does not verify facts against sources

Try asking

  • “Check this product announcement draft for grammar and unclear claims. The goal is to persuade investors to fund our Series A.”
  • “Review my email to the client for flow problems and tone inconsistency.”
  • “Proofread this blog post introduction and prioritise the most important fixes.”

Get better results

  • State your objective clearly (for example, persuade investors or explain features to new users) so the tone check is meaningful.
  • Paste the full text or the specific section you want reviewed, and mention the intended audience.
  • Treat suggested fixes as options and keep your own voice; check any new numbers or claims the example fixes might suggest.
