What it does
This skill teaches an agent how to connect your Google account (Gmail, Calendar, Contacts) to the gbrain personal knowledge tool, using your own Google Cloud OAuth app. Once set up, the agent can produce a daily digest of people waiting on you, the promises you have made, and context about each contact so you can reply. It also guides you through closing, muting or dropping tracked items and troubleshooting common Google setup errors.
Great for
- Users of gbrain who want email and calendar context fed into their personal knowledge base
- People who want a daily list of unanswered emails and commitments they owe others
- Developers or power users comfortable creating a Google Cloud OAuth client
Skip it if
- Users who do not want to create a Google Cloud project or handle OAuth credentials, since setup requires it
- Anyone wanting to send email on their behalf: this skill ingests and tracks mail, and its loop actions only change gbrain's records, though dropping loops cannot be undone
- Sensitive inboxes where granting a tool read access to all mail and contacts is not acceptable
Try asking
- “Connect my Gmail account”
- “Who is waiting on me today?”
- “Mute emails from this automated bank sender”
- “Check my open loops and show the evidence for each one”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Warn the user before consent that Google will say it has not verified the app, and that they should choose Advanced then Continue.
- Save any client_secret JSON to a private file rather than pasting secrets into chat, and prefer the file-path option.
- Run a sync before asking for waiting results, since the tool refuses stale data older than 24 hours.
