What it does

This skill is an index for a set of free, no-login Chinese stock market data sources run by Eastmoney (东方财富). Once installed, the agent knows which built-in Vibe-Trading tools to call to look up money flows into stocks, the daily dragon-tiger trading-seat list, margin financing balances, block trades, shareholder counts, lock-up share expiries, industry and concept sector membership, broker research reports, financial news, financial statements, and simple market screens. The skill itself does not fetch data; the Vibe-Trading tools do, and they throttle requests to avoid Eastmoney's rate limits.

Great for

  • Quant researchers studying A-share or Hong Kong stocks who want quick access to flow and disclosure data without an API key
  • Students learning how Chinese market microstructure data is organised
  • Developers building backtests or dashboards on top of Vibe-Trading tools

Skip it if

  • Trading decisions that need guaranteed, real-time or licensed data: the endpoints are unofficial, free, and can change or block requests without notice
  • Heavy bulk scraping: Eastmoney limits by source IP and temporarily bans bursts, so the skill warns against bypassing the throttling layer
  • Users outside Vibe-Trading who expect the skill alone to work: the listed tools must be present in that codebase

Try asking

  • “Show the main-force net inflow for 600519.SH over the last 30 trading days”
  • “List the top buyers and sellers on the dragon-tiger board for 000001.SZ on a given date”
  • “Check recent block trades and margin balance trends for a stock before an earnings week”
  • “Find which industry concept boards 300750.SZ belongs to and rank today's top sectors”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Eastmoney China Market DataInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 15 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    eastmoney.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip eastmoney.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip eastmoney.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Keep request frequency low and use the built-in tools rather than writing your own HTTP loops, to avoid IP bans
  • Check the ok field in each JSON response before using data, since single-symbol failures are reported per symbol
  • Verify important figures against official exchange or company filings before acting on them, because these are unofficial free feeds
