What it does
When this skill is installed, the agent plans an online course so that most pages are hands-on rather than text. Instead of slides, the agent builds interactive scenes such as adjustable simulations, explorable diagrams, runnable code, decision games and 3D views, bracketed by one opening slide and one closing slide or quiz. It also fills in the widget settings each interactive scene needs and writes scene titles and key points around what the learner does and discovers.
Great for
- Course authors building interactive lessons on mechanisms, processes or structures (physics, data flow, algorithms)
- Educators who want learners to vary parameters and predict outcomes instead of reading
- Developers extending the OpenMAIC course generator with interactive scene plans
Skip it if
- Topics with no variable, mechanism or structure to manipulate (e.g. pure history or literature summaries), where the skill's rules would force artificial interactivity
- Anyone expecting it to run or host a course itself; it only guides the planning and design of scenes, based on the single SKILL.md file shown
Try asking
- “Plan an interactive course on projectile motion where learners adjust the launch angle and watch the range change”
- “Design a course on how data flows through a web app, with an explorable diagram and a short runnable code scene”
- “Outline a deep interactive lesson on electric circuits with simulations, a prediction game and a closing quiz”

Add it to your agent
Claude Code (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip deep-interactive.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)
mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip deep-interactive.zip -d .claude/skills/Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- State the topic and the variable or mechanism you want learners to change so the agent can pick a suitable widget type.
- Ask for widgetOutline details (keyVariables, nodes, objects) explicitly if you need them filled in for direct use in the generator.
- Check that the opening and closing slides match your learning goals, since the skill fixes those positions as slides or quizzes.
