What it does

This skill tells an AI agent to convert your notes or content into a simple HTML presentation that you can open in a browser. Slides swipe horizontally, with a cover, several content pages (one core message each, paired with an image or chart), and a closing slide. A progress bar sits at the top, and the arrow keys move between slides while the URL hash stays in sync. The included example.html shows what the output looks like.

Great for

  • Founders or teams making a quick pitch or product overview deck
  • Students turning study notes into a browsable slide set
  • People who want a plain, general-purpose deck instead of a magazine-style layout

Skip it if

  • Highly branded or art-directed presentations, since the style is intentionally minimal and generic
  • Decks that must be edited in PowerPoint or Google Slides, because the output is HTML rather than an editable slide file

Try asking

  • “Make a 16:9 pitch deck from this product description: ...”
  • “Turn my study notes on photosynthesis into a swipeable slide deck”
  • “Create a simple overview deck of our Q3 results with one chart per slide”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 2 original files, the Apache-2.0 licence and an attribution note.

    deck-simple.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip deck-simple.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip deck-simple.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Provide the full content up front; the skill sizes the number of slides based on how much material you give it, so longer input gets more slides.
  • Mention if you want specific images or charts, since the skill asks for one visual per slide and may need your data for charts.
  • Open the generated HTML file in a browser and use the left and right arrow keys to check navigation before sharing.
