What it does
When installed, this skill teaches the agent how NanoClaw (a personal AI assistant framework) is organized and how to safely change it. Before editing anything, the agent asks clarifying questions, then points you to dedicated install skills (such as /add-telegram or /manage-channels) where they exist, and otherwise edits the right place: a group's CLAUDE.md file, the container configuration, or core code. It also explains the steps to rebuild and restart the service afterward.
Great for
- Developers running their own NanoClaw instance who want to add a messaging channel like Telegram or Slack
- Maintainers who need help wiring an MCP tool or changing a group's trigger rules
- Users who want guided, question-driven changes instead of hand-editing internals
Skip it if
- People who have never set up NanoClaw: the skill assumes an existing project, pnpm, the ncl CLI and a running service, so it will not help with a fresh install
- Production systems where config changes are made without review: the skill can modify core code and restart services, so changes should be checked before deployment
Try asking
- “Add Telegram as an input channel to my NanoClaw assistant”
- “Wire a new Slack channel to an existing agent group with mention-only triggers”
- “Add a Notion MCP integration for my work agent group”
- “Change the persona of my family group by editing its CLAUDE.md”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Name the channel or service you want up front so the agent can pick the matching /add-<channel> skill
- Review the diff and the wiring/trigger rules before accepting, especially for channels that reach shared groups
- Keep a backup of data/v2.db before large entity-model changes
