What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to operate a command-line tool that talks to Teltonika's Remote Management System (RMS), a cloud service for managing networking routers, gateways and IoT devices. Once installed, the agent can list and inspect devices, check alerts and locations, view logs, manage users, companies, tags, configurations and reports, and even create or delete records, all by running commands on your behalf. Every action goes over the internet to the RMS REST API using your access token.

Great for

  • Network or IoT administrators who manage fleets of Teltonika routers through RMS
  • Developers building scripts or automations around RMS device data
  • Operators who want to ask an agent to check device status or alerts in plain language

Skip it if

  • Anyone without a Teltonika RMS account or API token, since the tool cannot do anything without one
  • Situations where an agent should not change production settings, because the skill can delete devices, users, companies and passwords and update configurations without an obvious confirmation step described in the file

Try asking

  • “List all online devices in my RMS account”
  • “Show the latest alerts for device 12345 and explain them”
  • “Get the current location and location history of device 12345”
  • “Create a report from template and list all users who have not logged in recently”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the Apache-2.0 licence and an attribution note.

    cli-anything-rms.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip cli-anything-rms.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip cli-anything-rms.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Use the read-only list and get commands first to confirm the account and token work with auth test before making changes
  • Prefer passwords update with --password-stdin so device passwords do not appear in shell history or process lists
  • Store your API token with config set or an environment variable rather than pasting it into chat
