What it does

When an agent builds or edits a user interface, this skill makes it check accessibility basics: whether text and controls have enough contrast against their backgrounds, whether every control works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus indicator, and whether interactions like hover-only menus are avoided. For color pairs it cannot judge by eye, it calculates the WCAG contrast ratio instead of guessing, using a bundled Python script or a formula. It is meant to be used alongside a core antislop rules file.

Great for

  • Front-end developers who want AI-generated UI to meet WCAG AA contrast and keyboard standards
  • Designers reviewing color palettes for readable text and visible control boundaries
  • Teams that want a quick, scripted contrast check instead of relying on the model's eyeballing

Skip it if

  • Full accessibility audits: it covers a few patterns and a contrast checker, not screen reader testing or a complete WCAG review (the reference files may be incomplete relative to the full standard)
  • Projects that need certified compliance: a skill cannot replace testing with real assistive technology and users

Try asking

  • “Check whether #777777 text on a white background passes AA for body text”
  • “Review this login form CSS for removed focus outlines and keyboard access problems”
  • “Verify that the button and input border colors in this design meet the 3:1 non-text contrast rule”
  • “Make this hero text over a photo readable and tell me the worst-case contrast”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Anti-Slop Human Accessibility SkillInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 5 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    antislop-human.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip antislop-human.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip antislop-human.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give the agent the exact hex colors for each text and background pair so it can run the checker rather than estimate.
  • Ask it to check the worst spot for text over images or gradients, not just the brightest one.
  • Pair this skill with the core antislop rules file, since the SKILL.md expects it to be loaded together.
