What it does

This skill adds Vercel deployment to NanoClaw, a setup where AI agents run in isolated containers. It installs the Vercel command-line tool inside the agent's container and stores a Vercel access token in OneCLI, a credential gateway that adds the token to requests going to api.vercel.com so the agent never handles the raw secret directly. Once installed, a user can ask an agent to deploy a web application to Vercel.

Great for

  • Developers who already run NanoClaw and want agents to publish web apps to Vercel
  • Teams that want agent-driven deployments with credentials kept out of the agent's visible commands

Skip it if

  • People who do not use NanoClaw or OneCLI; the setup will fail without them
  • Anyone unwilling to give an agent a Full Account Vercel token, since that token can manage the whole account and the skill recommends it never expire

Try asking

  • “Deploy my Next.js app in this folder to Vercel”
  • “Add Vercel deployment to my NanoClaw agents”
  • “Give the marketing group access to deploy to Vercel”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Add Vercel DeploymentInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 4 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    add-vercel.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip add-vercel.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip add-vercel.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Use a scoped or expiring Vercel token if your security policy allows, rather than the Full Account token the skill suggests
  • Attach the Vercel secret only to the agent groups that truly need to deploy, since other groups will not receive it
  • Run the skill's gateway check first; if it fails, follow the message rather than saving a token
