What it does
This skill is an installation recipe for NanoClaw, a personal AI assistant framework. It copies a Resend email adapter into the project, registers it, installs a pinned adapter package, builds and tests the code, and then walks you through storing a Resend API key and webhook secret in the .env file. Once set up, the assistant can send and receive email conversations, with each correspondent treated as a separate conversation.
Great for
- Developers running NanoClaw who want the assistant reachable by email
- People comfortable creating a Resend account, verifying a sending domain and configuring a webhook
- Users who want asynchronous, longer-form conversations with an agent rather than chat
Skip it if
- Anyone without a domain they control and can verify with Resend, since the channel cannot receive mail without it
- Sensitive inboxes: anyone who emails the bot can reach the agent, and the skill notes open inboxes need separate wiring, so mixing email with other channels could expose private content unless the agent group is isolated
- Non-developers, because it requires running build and test commands and editing configuration
Try asking
- “Add the Resend email channel to my NanoClaw install”
- “Set up email so I can message my assistant by email and get replies”
- “Wire my own email address as the owner and send me a test hello”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Pin and review the adapter package version before running, since the skill installs @resend/chat-sdk-adapter@0.3.0 and copies source files from a git branch
- Keep the bot's agent group separate from sensitive channels if email content should stay isolated
- If the webhook proxy runs on another machine or in Docker on Linux, you may need WEBHOOK_HOST=0.0.0.0, which exposes the listener beyond localhost, so restrict access accordingly
