Social media repurposing workflow

Turn one long piece (article, video, podcast) into platform-native posts that each stand on their own instead of copy-pasted summaries.

You'll need: A long-form source: blog post, transcript or newsletter

Fill in your details

Values are inserted into every prompt below. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

4 field(s) left — unfilled variables stay as {{placeholders}}.

  1. 1Mine the source for atoms

    An atom is one idea that can stand alone: a stat, a story, a contrarian claim, a how-to step, a quote.

    Here is my source content:
    {{source_content}}

    Audience: {{audience}}

    Extract 10-15 content atoms. For each: type (stat, story, opinion, how-to, quote, mistake, framework), the atom in one or two sentences, and why this audience would care. Mark the three strongest.
  2. 2Write platform-native posts

    Each platform rewards a different shape. Don't let the model write one post and resize it.

    Using the strongest atoms, write posts for: {{platforms}}

    Voice: {{voice}}

    For each platform, follow its native format, for example: LinkedIn — a hook line, short paragraphs, one takeaway, a question at the end; X/Threads — one sharp idea, under 280 characters, or a short thread; Instagram — a carousel outline (slide by slide) plus caption; short video — a 30-second script with on-screen text. Each post must make sense to someone who never sees the source. Use a link only where the platform handles links well; otherwise put it in a comment or bio. No hashtag spam (max 3 where relevant).
  3. 3Schedule

    Spread posts over 1-2 weeks and vary the atom type day to day. Track which atom types perform best and feed that back into what you create next.

Example input

A 2,500-word blog post: 'What we learned raising prices 3 times in 2 years'.

Example output

Atom (story, strongest): We lost 4% of customers after our first price rise. Revenue went up 22%. The customers who left filed 40% of our support tickets. LinkedIn We raised prices and lost 4% of customers. Best thing that happened to us that year. The 4% who left were responsible for 40% of our support tickets... What's the price rise you've been putting off?

Troubleshooting

  • Posts all sound the same: give the model a different atom type for each platform.

Known limitations

  • Platform formats and algorithms change; treat the format guidance as a starting point.
