About

Write a precise brief for Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or ChatGPT, then run plan → tests → small steps → strict self-review → PR description.

How to use it

  1. 1Describe the stack, task type, goal, relevant files, constraints, acceptance criteria and test commands.
  2. 2Send the brief and approve a plan before any code is written.
  3. 3Have the agent write tests, then implement in small verified steps.
  4. 4Run the strict self-review and generate the PR description.
You give
Project stack, task type, goal, current vs expected behaviour, files, constraints, acceptance criteria and commands.
You get
An XML-structured task brief plus prompts for testing, incremental implementation, self-review and the PR description.
Good to know
This tool doesn't run an AI model: it builds expert prompts from your inputs for you to use in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini (free or paid plans). “Open in” links put the prompt in the link to chatgpt.com / claude.ai and only appear for prompts under 2,000 characters; Gemini has no prefill link, so we copy the prompt for you. Inputs and progress are saved in this browser only. AI output can be wrong — each step includes a check. You remain responsible for reviewing every change the agent makes.

FAQ

Why ask for a plan before code?

Agents that start coding immediately often misunderstand the codebase and change things you didn't ask for. A plan is cheap to correct; a 30-file diff isn't.

What makes good acceptance criteria?

Observable, testable statements: “Export button downloads invoices.csv with columns X, Y, Z”, “Works with zero invoices”. Each should map to a test.

Is my information sent anywhere?

Not by this page. Your inputs are filled into the prompts in your browser and saved locally. Text only leaves your device when you click Open in ChatGPT/Claude (the prompt is in the link) or paste it into an AI app yourself — so follow your organisation's rules about what you share with AI tools.
