What it does
This skill teaches the agent how to write and maintain saved Dynamic Workflows for Qwen Code: small JavaScript files that break a task into phases, run sub-agents (with optional parallel or sequential steps), and return a final result. Once installed, when you ask it to save or edit a workflow, the agent writes the script to your project's .qwen/workflows folder, checks the file reads back correctly, and tells you the slash command to run it. It does not run the workflow unless you ask it to.
Great for
- Developers using Qwen Code who want to turn a repeatable multi-agent task into a named slash command
- Teams who want shared project-level workflow definitions stored in version control
- Users building workflows from the Web Shell Workflows page
Skip it if
- Users who do not use Qwen Code or the Dynamic Workflow feature, since the saved scripts depend on its sandbox and tool runtime
- Editing Task Flow YAML files under qwen-workflow-design, which this skill explicitly excludes
- Anyone expecting workflow scripts to access files, shell or network directly; they cannot, and the skill routes such actions through agent prompts instead
Try asking
- “Create a workflow under .qwen/workflows called release-readiness that inspects, validates and summarizes a release candidate”
- “Edit my existing code-review workflow so the two review agents run in parallel, keeping its metadata unchanged”
- “Save a workflow named docs-sync that checks changed files and updates the matching docs”

Add it to your agent
Claude Code (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip workflow-creator.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)
mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip workflow-creator.zip -d .claude/skills/Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Describe the phases, their order, and the final result you want so the script stays minimal
- Use project scope by default; ask explicitly if you want a workflow saved to ~/.qwen/workflows for all projects
- Review the saved .js file before running it, since workflows you save can later be executed by sub-agents and the slash command
