What it does

This skill teaches an agent to summarise a batch of recent entries from an Obsidian wiki's log into a single new 'fold' page, without changing the original log entries or the pages they point to. By default it only shows a preview of the draft and the files it would change. Only when the user explicitly asks to apply or commit does it write the fold page, its index entry and a new log entry, as one transaction with checksum checks.

Get better results

  • Pass --vault explicitly or set CLAUDE_OBSIDIAN_VAULT so the skill does not write to the wrong folder
  • Keep a git checkpoint or backup of the vault before applying, since the apply step writes three files
