What it does
When a project is too big for one AI coding session and the path forward is unclear, this skill has the agent lay out a shared map of decisions on your issue tracker and work through them one by one. Each ticket asks a question (research, a rough prototype, a conversation with you, or a small manual task needed before a decision), and the agent records the answer so later tickets build on it. The goal is a clear route to the destination, not building the thing itself.
Great for
- Developers starting a large feature or migration who want the decisions settled before any code is written
- Teams that track work in an issue tracker and want a visible, shared plan of open questions
- Course or content designers who want to map out a multi-part effort the same way
Skip it if
- Small, well-understood tasks that fit in one session, since the map overhead is unnecessary
- Work where you want the agent to just build the thing, because the skill deliberately stops at decisions unless the effort's Notes say otherwise
- Setups without an issue tracker, where the skill falls back to local markdown files and loses the shared-tracker benefit
Try asking
- “Plan the migration of our authentication system to a new provider as a wayfinder map”
- “Map out the decisions needed before we rebuild the billing service”
- “Chart the open questions for a new onboarding flow and work through them one at a time”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Name the destination clearly at the start, since every ticket is shaped by it
- Keep HITL grilling tickets for live conversation with yourself; the agent should not answer its own questions
- Check the tracker's frontier view to see which tickets are ready to take next
