What it does
This skill tells an AI coding agent how to take a written spec and its linked tickets and implement them in code. Instead of working through a plain checklist, the agent treats the tickets as a dependency graph, starts whichever tickets are unblocked, and hands each one to a separate sub-agent working in its own git worktree and branch. Finished work is merged onto a single integration branch, followed by a code review pass, and then the tickets are closed in the issue tracker.
Great for
- Developers who already have a spec and tickets from the matching /to-spec and /to-tickets workflow
- Teams that want parallel, ticket-by-ticket implementation with git branches and a final review
- Solo developers who want an agent to drive a multi-ticket feature to a single integration branch
Skip it if
- Projects without a written spec or issue tracker setup, since the skill depends on both and asks the user to run a setup command first
- Quick one-off code changes, because the workflow spawns many sub-agents, worktrees and merges and is heavy for small tasks
- Repositories where automatic creation of branches, PRs, and closing tickets is unwanted, since the skill performs those git and tracker actions
Try asking
- “Implement the spec for the new billing feature using its tickets”
- “Work through the frontier of tickets for the search spec on an integration branch”
- “Build out the spec in this repo and open a draft PR when the first merge lands”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run /setup-matt-pocock-skills first so the agent knows which issue tracker to use
- Make sure the spec and tickets are complete before starting, since subagents work from them
- Review the integration branch and the final code review output before merging to main
