Turns a broker trade export into a profile and checks for four common trading biases.

What it does

Once installed, the agent can read a CSV or Excel trade export from Chinese or international brokers (Tonghuashun, Eastmoney, Futu, or a generic format) and summarise the user's trading: win rate, average holding days, profit/loss ratio, drawdown, most-traded symbols and active hours. It also scores four behavioural patterns (disposition effect, overtrading, chasing momentum, anchoring) with severity levels and numeric evidence, then writes a report in the user's language.

Great for

  • Retail investors who want an honest, data-based review of their own past trades
  • Analysts or students studying trading behaviour from broker exports
  • Users of the Vibe-Trading platform who already upload broker files

Skip it if

  • Giving investment advice or predicting returns: it only describes past records, and the skill's own outputs are statistical heuristics, not proof of a bias.
  • Multi-currency accounts needing combined totals: the skill keeps currencies separate and does not convert FX, so a single combined P&L is not provided.
  • Strategy backtesting or stop-loss simulation: these are listed as future work (Phase 4b/4c) and are not available yet.

Try asking

  • “Analyze my trade journal at uploads/trades.csv and give me a full report.”
  • “How did I do in March 2026? Filter the file to 2026-03-01 to 2026-03-31.”
  • “How much did I make on 600519.SH across all my trades?”
  • “Compare my Hong Kong and US trades from this export.”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Trade Journal AnalysisInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    trade-journal.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip trade-journal.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip trade-journal.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Export the full broker statement including actual fills; header-only or empty files will fail to parse.
  • If the format is not recognised, rename key columns to datetime, symbol, side, quantity, price, amount, fee and re-upload.
  • Treat the bias scores as prompts for self-reflection rather than verdicts, and use filters (date, symbol, market) to narrow the review.
