What it does

When installed, the agent follows a fixed SWOT framework whenever you ask about a product or business position. It works through internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats, cross-references them, and turns the findings into prioritized recommendations, owners and metrics to track. It is a text-only analysis guide; it does not pull in outside data itself, so it relies on the information you give it.

Great for

  • Product managers preparing a strategy review or roadmap discussion
  • Founders or business leads assessing their competitive position
  • Teams wanting a consistent, complete SWOT structure instead of an ad hoc list

Skip it if

  • Decisions needing verified market data, since the skill only uses what you supply and does not research the market (accuracy depends on your inputs)
  • Highly regulated or legal/financial decisions, where a generic framework cannot replace expert advice

Try asking

  • “Run a SWOT analysis for our B2B invoicing app against its main competitors”
  • “Give me a SWOT for our product and recommend three strategic actions with owners”
  • “Evaluate our current market position as a basis for next quarter's roadmap”

Get better results

  • Provide product description, competitor context, team constraints and any customer data up front for richer results.
  • Ask for probability and impact ratings on threats if you need to prioritize them.
  • Treat the output as a discussion draft and validate claims about competitors and markets yourself.
